Hatch offers several partnership opportunities to help you meet your CSR goals while supporting underrepresented entrepreneurs:
The time commitment is flexible and can be tailored to your organisation’s capacity. We offer various volunteering opportunities requiring different levels of commitment:
We work closely with our partners to find the right balance that benefits both your organisation and our founders.
We measure the impact of our partnerships through the tangible outcomes they create for underrepresented founders. Our comprehensive tracking includes:
We also collect qualitative feedback from founders after they complete our programmes to understand their experience and the value they gained.
Additionally, we track the impact that partnerships have on our partners themselves by monitoring how many of their employees have participated in volunteering opportunities and gathering feedback on their experience.
Hatch works with a diverse range of partners who, like us, recognise the additional barriers faced by UK entrepreneurs from underrepresented groups. Our current partners include:
Up until early 2020, the majority of the entrepreneurs we worked with were based in London and the South East. Having since taken our portfolio of support programmes online, increasingly we now work with entrepreneurs from right across the UK.
Since pivoting to delivering our support to founders online in early 2020, we’re increasingly supporting people from across the UK, and now run multiple programmes that are specifically designed for people outside of London and the South East. Currently half of the founders supported through our cohort programmes are based outside of London, from richly diverse communities across the UK, all the way from Brighton to Edinburgh.
Hatch specialises in supporting founders from underrepresented backgrounds, which means your partnership can be tailored to align with your specific diversity and inclusion priorities. Our programmes support:
While these are the groups we currently focus on, we’re always open to providing our services to other underrepresented groups as well. We are happy to discuss any specific requirements with funders so we can work together to determine how best to achieve your goals and support your target communities.
The financial commitment for a partnership varies depending on the type and scope of collaboration you’re interested in. We create bespoke partnerships that align with your budget, goals, and desired impact.
Whether you’re looking to sponsor a full programme, fund grants for entrepreneurs, or sponsor industry leading research, we can design a partnership package that works for your organisation.
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals are increasingly becoming a priority for businesses of all sizes, and Hatch plays an important role as a conduit in channelling that intention, resource and financial support into making a social and local impact.
We encourage you to fill out our partnership inquiry form to start the conversation about how we can work together to support underrepresented entrepreneurs in a way that aligns with your resources and objectives.
