Want to take your social business to the next level? This programme will support you to prepare and apply for social investment to help you scale your impact.

Who can apply?

You are a female founder from an ethnic minority background and you lead a social or environmental impact business based in London that you’re looking to grow and you want to:

  • Access support from experts, mentors, consultants and other social entrepreneurs
  • Apply for a blended finance package up to £70k (a 0% interest loan up to £50k repayable over 5 years and an unrestricted grant of up to £20k)

This programme will help you:

  • Clarify your impact: how you define it, how you measure it, and how you communicate it
  • Map your growth strategy: plan your social and commercial aims over the next three years and your strategy to achieve them
  • Pin down your finances: write a cash flow forecast for the next five years and understand your management accounts and assumptions
  • Solidify your team: identify your key risks and mitigations, build up your team and advisory board, form key relationships for support
  • Access funding: write and present an application for blended social investment to CAF Venturesome

Expert-led workshops

Attend 12 expert-led workshops on topics including impact, growth strategy, finance, team, pitching and presentation – along with four workshops that are co-designed by the cohort

Peer support

Work with a small group of peers on the same journey, supported by a programme facilitator to help you share insights, experiences and learning

1-2-1 expert support

Access peer mentoring and expert consultant sessions from a range of experienced entrepreneurs, industry experts and sector specialists
