Good Deals + Beyond Good Business
Good Deals + Beyond Good Business’ mission is to stimulate innovation and build bridges between corporate companies, intermediaries and mission driven businesses. The sold-out event hosted 400 delegates at the Royal Institute of British Architects. High profile speakers included serial philanthropists and social investors. Nick Jenkins, Moonpig founder, took a spotlight.
Workshops and seminars delivered by social investors and intermediaries were immersive, hands-on and fun, covering a range a topics for start-ups and corporate companies. Talks and panel discussions came from a very diverse group of speakers, making the day varied and informative. Partners of event were NatWest, The British Council, The Connect Fund, NESTA and many more.
21 May 2019, Mary Ward House – Tickets now available
Start Up Brixton was the largest start up event in South London, with over 650 people attending. The event allowed us to celebrate new ideas by running a start-up and grow-up pitch competition. Over 120 people applied and 24 got through to pitch. We were looking for mission driven business with transformational impact to those it seeks to serve.
Upon the completion of the programme entrepreneurs pitch at Demo Day. The entrepreneurs communicate what their businesses do, evidence traction, present finances and communicate their growth strategy. They are then presented with feedback from a panel of experts to improve their business, and introductions can be made to further their enterprises.
