Hatch Enterprise’s programmes and services are not directed to children under thirteen years of age and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen. If we discover that a child under thirteen has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete such personal information from our systems.

What we do with your data
- Any information you enter into the application form is transferred securely to our salesforce account which we use to keep track of applications. Your data will only be viewed by authorised Hatch employees and our funders (list available on request)*. We will not share your information with any other 3rd parties without first asking your consent.
- Any data entered into our newsletter form is transferred securely to our mailchimp account which we use to keep track of our newsletters. Your data will only be viewed by authorised Hatch employees*. We will not share your information with any other 3rd parties without first asking your consent.
- Any data entered into our contact form is emailed to us securely (or in the case of hatchenterprise.org sent to our salesforce account). Your data will only be viewed by authorised Hatch employees*. We will not share your information with any other 3rd parties without first asking your consent.
- Any information you enter to join our events is transferred securely to our eventbrite account which we use to keep track of ticket sales. Your data will only be viewed by authorised Hatch employees*. We will not share your information with any other 3rd parties without first asking your consent.
*Information sent to us which are handled by 3rd parties (such as salesforce or mailchimp) can be viewed by staff members of those organisations, this will only be done if Hatch requires administrative support using the service.
Other than the 3rd parties mentioned above we will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to anyone else unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.
Where we store your data
Some or all of your data may be stored or transferred outside of the European Economic Area (The EEA consists of all EU member states, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). If we do store or transfer data outside the EEA, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated as safely and securely as it would be within the EEA and under the GDPR. How long we retain your data
Any emails you send to us or stored indefinitely. All data entered into our forms (newsletter, contact or application form) are kept for upto 7 years from the last time we were in contact with you. If you have been through our entrepreneur programme any details about you or your business added to our website are stored indefinitely. If you join any of our memberships your details will be removed from our website once you have informed us you have left and will be deleted from our internal systems 7 years after you have left unless you request otherwise.
Basis for processing
We process your data under the legitimate interest basis, in conducting our work offering training and events in furtherance of our charitable objectives – except for sensitive personal data, which we process on the basis of consent. You do not have to supply us with sensitive personal data (for instance about ethnicity or disability status). Since securing funding for our organisation often requires us to report on sensitive personal data, if you do not supply this information we cannot offer you a bursary on our programmes and will instead charge you at the listed price. We will also not be able to admit you on any programmes that have an entry requirement related to sensitive personal information (such as training programmes specifically for entrepreneurs from BAME backgrounds)
